DESCRIPTION
Thuluth is an Emirati fragrance house rooted in the rich heritage, landscapes, and sensory traditions of the Arabian Peninsula. The name Thuluth, Arabic for “one third”reflects the fundamental structure of perfumery: top, middle, and base notes. This idea of harmony and proportion becomes the foundation of the brand’s identity, both conceptually and visually.
Our creative direction began with the region’s historic perfume-making culture. We drew inspiration from the botanical motifs commonly found on traditional Arabian perfume bottles, incorporating these organic forms into a refined, contemporary visual language. The logo itself is a fusion of meaning and geometry: an expressive typographic rendering of the word Thuluth intertwined with a subtle visual representation of “1/3,” symbolizing the balanced layering of fragrance notes.
The color palette pays homage to the essence of the UAE, ocean blue for the Gulf’s serene horizon, desert sand for the vast dunes that shape the land, and white for purity and timeless elegance. These tones come together to create a brand identity that feels both classic and modern, grounded yet sophisticated.
At its core, Thuluth is dedicated to sharing the authentic scents of the region with the world. Each perfume is designed as a journey, an olfactory narrative honoring centuries of craftsmanship, cherished natural ingredients, and the enduring spirit of Emirati culture. Our design approach reflects this mission, celebrating tradition while embracing a refined, contemporary aesthetic.
